    this psa or whatever upsets me only because i think this girl looks great in the reflection. everytime i see it i wonder if they were trying to impress on her being ‘fat’ or something because i really disagree. i dunno. i think she looks fantastic.

    I think they were trying to show a relatable size. just maybe a bit ‘chubby’ but not fat, so more people can relate to how they’ve looked at their own image in the mirror.

    I see a lot of girls this size and I think they’re pretty the way they are. ^^ I agree with the comment above, they’re trying to show a relatable size. Something in between. Overall, I think this is a really powerful ad

    When I first saw this, it was in 7th or 8th grade health class. It makes for a much more powerful message, showing her as average sized. My initial impression (before they revealed her real size) was “Okay, I get that they’re trying to show an average sized, not fat girl obsessing over areas of her body.” When they revealed her real size, it was much more shocking. The girl in the mirror is most definitely not supposed to be fat- it would negate the entire point
